Controversy often blocks us from Empowered Health
The range of opinions from professionals about what comprises empowered health is varied and often conflicting. Some say it must be characterized by vitality, strength, agility and ideal body weight. Some say you can see it by the way a person moves and breathes. Others say it is a state where our cells are communicating in a healthy way and we are free from disease and that external appearances are deceiving. Still others focus on pleasure, relaxation and joy as indicators of empowered health.
Since professionals cannot readily agree upon a definition of empowered or optimal health, is it any wonder that most of us can feel conflicted about it? A sane approach is to bypass the controversy and begin by simply making a decision to care more about our health and the health of all living beings.
Cut through the clutter of opinions and take one step each day toward healthier living.
Gauging Success
We encourage you to begin by balancing brain chemistry. That does not mean this is the only methodology you need. Along your journey to empowered health you may discover that you are in great need of upgrading your diet or way of exercising and need to work with a specialist in these areas. Or you may learn that adding expert medical care and having your hormones evaluated is essential.
To keep focused on forward momentum, accept that there is controversy, keep your discernment sharp and continue on.
As our discernment and awareness grow, we can gauge our experience of empowered health by gently being aware of the precious moments where we do experience deep inner calm , high alertness and a subtle sense of joy. If you live in a state with all three of these components integrated for more than 8 hours daily, you are most likely enjoying empowered health.
It's a great place to be, and the companionship in this state is delightful .
Today take an honest look in the mirror and ask if you value your precious human life? Do not criticize yourself or compare yourself to anyone else. What's important is that the commitment to upgrading your health begins now.
It is your choice .
